Restructuring & Insolvency Manager

Caroline qualified as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in 1996 and has worked full time in Restructuring and Insolvency for over 27 years, predominantly in top 10 accountancy practices.

Caroline joined the Mercer & Hole
St Albans office in 2006 and advises and assists debtors, creditors and other stakeholders of SME’s focussing on rescue and recovery through operational/financial restructuring, corporate simplification or through a formal insolvency process including administration, voluntary arrangement, S110 reorganisation and members’ or creditors’ liquidation.

Caroline has extensive experience of a wide range of industries including manufacturing, IT, service industries, hotel and leisure, professional practices, building and construction, printing and wholesale and distribution.

Caroline also assists individuals who run a business, either as a sole trader or as a partner in partnership, and find themselves in financial difficulty. She is able to advise on the options available and assist with its implementation, including the options available under The Insolvent Partnerships Order 1994.

Caroline chairs the Technical Committee for Restructuring and Insolvency and regularly writes technical bulletins, articles and gives presentations. She is also the founder of the Women in Finance group for Beds, Bucks and Herts the aim of which is to introduce and establish a link between women involved in finance across the three counties.

Caroline enjoys spending her leisure time with her partner and running around after her three children.
