Helen McKie specialises in providing private client tax advice to high net worth individuals and their families, trusts and estates. Her specific focus, an area she particularly enjoys, is advising on the taxation, administration and accounting of trusts.

Helen provides expert tax advice and a range of compliance services to a wide variety of clients by ensuring she understands completely their priorities and ambitions. Her clients include high net worth individuals, their families and their trusts, the independently wealthy and city executives, landed estates and charities.

A holder of the prestigious Chartered Institute of Taxation Spofforth Medal, Helen achieved the highest marks in a specialist paper on the taxation of individuals, trusts and estates. She became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2006.

Helen became a partner of Mercer & Hole in 2008 and was appointed a Director of Mercer & Hole Trustees Limited, the trust corporation arm of the firm, in 2007 having progressed rapidly through the ranks. She joined Mercer & Hole’s graduate training programme in 2003, as an alumna of the University of Exeter, where she read Economics and Statistics.

She enjoys travelling, having spent her early years living in countries such as Germany and Cyprus, and Helen’s recent trips have included tours of Australia, New Zealand and parts of the Far East.
