Based in the Northampton office, Mike has a broad and diverse range of clients including both start-ups and established businesses. He advises joint ventures, partnerships and companies on their auditing and accounting issues and provides taxation advice both to businesses and individuals. A specialist in the agricultural sector, he also advises a number of estates, farms and agricultural concerns.

Part of Mike’s experience lies in advising UK subsidiaries of overseas holding companies, providing, for example, guidance on the initial structure and setting-up, usually including the provision of prompt monthly management accounts. Providing outsourcing of accounting and payroll functions for clients both in the UK and overseas is a particular area of expertise.

Mike also advises business owners and directors on both corporate and personal tax matters including planning, acquisitions, disposals and particularly succession planning. Working closely with clients and ensuring that their business objectives are achieved as efficiently as possible is of primary importance.

Mike is married, is a keen rugby enthusiast and enjoys playing golf.
